How to Boost Your Saliva Production
woman looking at mirror brushing teeth tooth bathroom eNewsletter
If you are suffering from dry mouth, you may be interested in ways that you can boost your saliva production to keep your teeth safe and breath fresh. Try following a few of these steps:

• Chew on sugar-free gum. This can stimulate your salivary glands.
• Eat foods that are high in fiber, such as crunchy fruits and vegetables.
• Limit your alcohol consumption, as alcohol will dry out the mouth.
• Brush your teeth, floss regularly, and use mouthwash. However, be sure to choose mouthwashes that are alcohol-free if you are concerned about saliva production.

If you need additional tips on how to improve your saliva production, contact our office.
